Abstract
SummaryA multidisciplinary team of professionals met the parents of 25 pre‐school handicapped children for a series of evening meetings to discuss how professionals and parents can help the development of the child. The workshop was exceptionally well‐attended by parents who received practical advice from both the professionals and other parents. Multidisciplinary parents workshops appear to be an effective community service for the parents of handicapped children. Keywords
