Abstract
An improved structure for subharmonically pumped mixers is described. This structure is mechanically simple, and facilitates excellent mixer performance at millimeter-wave frequencies. A 183-GHz mixer built yields a mixer noise temperature as low as 900 K double sideband (DBS). The structure passed thermal and vibration tests for spaceborne applications.Keywords
