Abstract
The evaluation of chest pain is a critical step in the care of women with heart disease. It is a point at which women are likely to be treated differently from men,16 especially when the diagnosis has not been established. Among patients known to have coronary artery disease, differences in the care given the two sexes are much less sharp. Physicians may be puzzled about how to incorporate into clinical care new data on different patterns of treatment for men and women.In the study of coronary heart disease, women have often been excluded from clinical trials or studied . . .Keywords
