Abstract
Studies carried out to explore further the cytotoxic effects of activated macrophages from mice treated with Corynebacterium parvum revealed that their effect on the EMT-6 line of tumor target cells was limited solely to cytostasis with no evidence of a cytocidal effect. In additional studies, the cytostatic effects of activated macrophages markedly reduced the cytotoxic effects of the chemotherapeutic agent cytosine arabinoside on EMT-6 target cells. Keywords
