Abstract
Low-density lipoprotein receptors from adult human liver and the human hepatoblastoma cell line HepG2 were analyzed by polyacrylamide electrophoresis in SDS followed by immuno- and ligand botting. In both liver and HepG2 we detected a protein band with apparent relative molecular mass of 130 kDa, which is similar to that of the LDL receptor in fibroblasts. In addition we showed that HeLa cells also possess this LDL-receptor proteinKeywords
