Block Effects in the Determination of Optimum Conditions

Abstract
It is shown that "central-composite" designs can easily be blocked by adjusting the size of the cross-polytope portion of the design and the number of center points in the "factorial" and "polytope" blocks, so that the expected values of the block means are all the same.
