Abstract
Previous work on the use of singular systems for the inversion of photon correlation functions obtained in the analysis of molecular polydispersity by laser light scattering is extended to allow the imposition of a ‘‘profile’’ function, having the measured mean and polydispersity index, to localize the recovered solution and improve its resolution. This profile function is used to construct an appropriate orthonormal basis in a weighted L2 space in which to expand the solution and also a basis of vectors for expanding the experimental data. Keywords
