Abstract
Eighteen ragweed hay fever patients received injections of alum-precipitated pyridine (Allpyral) ragweed extracts in maintenance doses of 6000-8000 PNU [protein N units] at intervals of 2-4 mo. over a 2-yr period. The prolonged interval did not seem to influence the clinical response or the tendency to reaction, or result in significant change in immunological tolerance (as determined by antibody studies which included fluorescent antibody assays, hemagglutination and RAST [radioallergosorbent test] techniques. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
