Abstract
A systematic way of constructing resistive‐capacitive ladder networks and transmission lines that have a generalized Warburg impedance has been developed, where is independent of the angular frequency , and . These realizations are believed to be useful for understanding the physical processes responsible for the above fractional‐power‐law dependence on frequency, which is often observed in interfacial and bulk ac response of many materials.
