Abstract
The value of microscopic examination as a quantitative indicator of toxicity of Pithomyces chartarum has been studied. There is good correlation between dose and response when animals are dosed for seven days and examined 21 days from the commencement of dosing. It is suggested that this procedure could be utilised for biological aspects of the study of P. chartarum. Keywords
