Raman Scattering from ZnS Polytypes

Abstract
The Raman spectra of the and structures of ZnS have been measured between room temperature and 60 K, and compared with the spectra from zinc blende ZnS. The observed phonons in each case are in good agreement with those expected from the known structural differences.
