Abstract
Masses are derived for the components of 10 short period cataclysmic variable stars. With one exception, the masses of the white dwarf primaries lie in the range 1.2 ± 0.2 M⊙ , and are thus approximately three times heavier than isolated white dwarf stars.Keywords
