Abstract
SUMMARY: The protein-bound iodine (PBI) content of the thyroid of a teleost fish has been estimated and has been shown to vary with age and sex. The total thyroidal PBI/g body weight increases with age. The relationship between plasma PBI and thyroid PBI has been investigated and is discussed. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
