Abstract
2.2′‐Dihydroxy‐biphenyle zeigen dann eine auffallend hohe Acidität in der ersten Dissoziationsstufe und eine große Differenz zur zweiten Stufe, wenn sich im Mono‐Anion eine feste Wasserstoffbrücke ausbilden kann. Wird diese durch Substituenten in 6.6′‐Stellung behindert, so dissoziieren die Hydroxygruppen praktisch unabhängig voneinander. Die Dissoziation von Hydroxy‐biphenylchinonen wird spektroskopisch und durch potentiometrische Titration untersucht. Es wird gezeigt, welche Aussagen pk‐Messungen über die Konstellation ionisierbarer Biphenylderivate liefern.Keywords
