Abstract
Incorporation of an isotopically labeled compound into cells may be estimated conveniently and accurately by collecting an aliquot sample of the cells on a 1-inch membrane filter. The filter with cells is washed, dried, and introduced into a gas-flow counter. The method should be applicable also to particulate cell-free preparations. Keywords
