An Experimenter's View of Lattice QCD

Abstract
Lattice QCD has the potential this decade to maximize the sensitivity of the entire flavor physics program to new physics and pave the way for understanding physics beyond the Standard Model at the LHC in the coming decade. However, the challenge for the Lattice is to demonstrate reliability at the level of a few per cent given a past history of 10-20% errors. The CLEO-c program at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring is providing the data that will make the demonstration possible. Keywords
