Zur Antibiotikatherapie der Nocardiose*

Abstract
Die Resistenz von 20 Nocardia-asteroides-Stämmen gegen 17 verschiedene Antibiotika und Chemotherapeutika wurde im Plattenverdünnungstest untersucht. Gegen die meisten dieser Mittel erwiesen sich die untersuchten Stämme als hochresistent. Unerwartet günstige Wirkung zeigten jedoch Gentamycin und vor allem Fusidinsäure, so daß die klinische Erprobung dieser Medikamente zur Nocardiose-Therapie empfohlen wird. Sensitivity of 20 Nocardia-asteroides strains against 17 different antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents was tested with a platedilution method. The strains proved to be highly resistant against most of the drugs but unexpectedly favourable results were obtained with gentamycin and, especially, fusidinic acid. This suggests that these drugs should be tried clinically in the treatment of nocardiosis. Acerca de la terapéutica antibiótica de la nocardiosis Mediante la prueba de dilución de cultivos en places se exploró la resistencia de 20 cepas de Nocardia asteroides frente a 17 distintos antibióticos y quimioterapéuticos. Las cepas exploradas se mostraron como muy resistentes frente a la mayoría de estas substancias. Un efecto favorable inesperado mostraron, sin embargo, la gentamicina y sobre todo el ácido fusidínico, tanto que se recomienda probar clínicamente este medicamento en la terapéutica de la nocardiosis.
