Abstract
Various dyes incorporated into a basal yeast extract medium are useful in the identification of the rapidly growing mycobacteria. This method could be used in conjunction with the arylsulfatase-test and observation of colonial morphology on oleic-acid-albumin and corn meal agars. The unclassified group -IV rapid-growers could be separated into 3 groups. Keywords
