Abstract
Conducting polymers may be used as sensitive layers in chemical microsensors leading to new applications. They offer the potential for developing material properties that are critical to the sensitivity, selectivity and fabrication of chemical sensors. The advantages and limitations of the use of thin-polymer layers in potentiometric sensors are discussed. Keywords
