Abstract
This study was made on 28 patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and on 24 patients during cardiac surgery. Procaine amide was valuable in terminating paroxysmal tachycardia. It was limited in value in the prophylaxis of clinical arrhythmias and of no value in the prevention of the arrhythmias during surgery. Keywords
