Abstract
A control ration of corn, peanut meal, minerals and vits. A and D, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine, pantothenic acid, choline and folic acid was used. Aureomycin supplementation produced considerable growth response with the pig when added to the control ration plus vits. B12 and B12b. APF Supplement 2 (Lederle) was shown to contain some factor(s) other than aureomycin and B12 which accelerates growth in the pig. Crystalline aureomycin was of no benefit when added to an APF supplement which already contained enough aureomycin. Keywords
