Abstract
Recent developments in electronic-linear scanning have brought about high-resolution, real-time sonography. Several technical problems remain. One of these is that there are some blind areas in scanning the abdomen, especially the upper margin of the liver under the dome of the diaphragm, the cephalic part of the spleen, and the tail and head of the pancreas. A new convex transducer was evaluated. It was compared with a linear transducer to determine if visualization of such blind areas was improved. [Patients (116) were evaluated.].This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
