Abstract
Young turkey poults were fed rations containing an isolated soybean protein to which various additions of cystine and methionine were made. Approximately 0.5% methionine and 0.3% cystine were required for the optimum growth of the poults in a ration containing 24% crude protein. Methionine may completely replace cystine in the ration but cystine is not changed to methionine. Keywords
