Abstract
Results of a survey of the galactic radiation over the sky north of Dec. = −05° at a frequency of 178 Mc/s are presented. The radiation pattern of the aerial has a beamwidth of 13′4 × 4°.6 to half power points. Corrections have been applied to the observations to take account of the responses away from the main beam. The final temperature scale is believed to be correct to within 10 per cent and the zero level of the survey is known to within 15°K.Keywords
