Abstract
The severity of aorto-iliac disease was evaluated by direct pressure recording at the time of translumbar aortography [in 18 patients]. Pulse wave analysis confirmed the radiological appearance of 35 aorto-iliac segments and in 1 further segment, identifed a normal hemodynamic pattern in the presence of marked degenerative disease. The method is safe, accurate, simple and relatively inexpensive. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
