Abstract
A new gas chromatographic mass spectrometric chemical ionization assay for haloperidol with selectedion monitoring is presented which provides for better combined selectivity and sensitivity than previous assays. Levels of haloperidol in 2 ml of human plasma were reproducibly measured down to subnanogram levels. Both methane and methane--ammonia chemical ionization spectra are presented for haloperidol and the internal standard trifluperidol. Keywords
