Abstract
The feeding behaviour of two freshwater zooplankton species, the calanoid copepod Eudiaptomus gracilis and the cladoceran Daphnia longispina, at extremely low food concentrations has been studied in order to test whether the animals react as predicted by the models of optimal foraging.Keywords
