Abstract
The ISO Ignitability Test apparatus is used to determine the times to ignition for cellulosic materials under an incident radiative flux within the range 1‐‐5 kW/m2. A linear relationship is determined between time to ignition and incident flux, and a means of using these results to classify building materials is proposed, based upon an empirical flux‐time product. Keywords
