Abstract
The compounds formed on titania (anatase) after its treatment with hydrogen peroxide have been investigated by spectroscopic methods, thermal desorption measurements and chemical analysis. Physically adsorbed hydrogen peroxide, hydroperoxide groups, and O– 2 anion radicals were found. The possible active sites for adsorption and the structure of the hydroperoxide groups are discussed. Keywords
