Active FSS in an experimental horn antennaswitchable between two beamwidths

Abstract

An experimental H-plane sectoral horn with interior active FSS wall in the E-plane is described. The FSS is switchable between transmitting and reflecting states, which enables the horn beamwidth to be varied.
