Abstract
The symmetry properties of fixed molecule photoelectron angular distributions in various polarization geometries are discussed, and it is shown how these place constraints on photoionization dynamics. We present model calculations of such photoelectron angular distributions for a generic C3v molecule, for limiting choices of photoionization dynamics. Finally, we show how these results help us to interpret the results of photoelectron–photoion coincidence (PEPICO) experiments. This publication has 32 references indexed in Scilit:
