Abstract
B12 was beneficial for pigs depleted on a ration containing corn, peanut meal, minerals and vits. A, D, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, choline and folic acid. Alkali-treated APF (aureomycin-B12 feed supplement) contains a factor or factors which promoted growth and may have had a sparing effect upon the B12 needs in this species. Keywords
