Abstract
Adoption of reduced-tillage methods of crop production has been extraordinarily rapid, especially in states with rolling topographies. According to Phillips (1974) corn and soybean no-till acreage in Kentucky increased from 110,000 to 650,000 from 1969 to 1974, respectively. This cultural method and its value in development of multicropping systems have created many entomological problems. Keywords
