Abstract
A rapid method for fixation and embedding of biopsy material for electron microscopic examination has been developed. The procedure was simplified by fix ing the biopsies with fixative in ready-to-use ampules and hastened by chemical dehydration in 2.2-dimethoxypropane. The procedure takes 4 h and yields excellent results. Keywords
