Abstract
Acceptance as a legitimate discipline is a problem confronted by all new academic fields, including criminal justice. This research note enumerates some of the problems faced by emerging disciplines. A survey sent to representatives of all law schools in the United States identifies some of the specific difficulties currently faced by criminal justice.Keywords
