Abstract
A one-stage assay system for accelerator globulin is descr. which uses aged human plasma as a source of prothrombin and fibrinogen. Human brain is used as a source of thromboplastin. The test plasma is diluted sufficiently so that the prothrombin present does not interfere with the test. Bovine plasma is used as a reference standard. The test is simple and accurate when carried out properly. Keywords
