Abstract
A closed anesthetic system is described that provides a continuous supply of anesthetized small laboratory animals for surgical procedures. The system consists of a veterinary anesthetic unit attached to an animal chamber replacing the face mask of the unit. The anesthetic, methoxyflurane, is used with O2, constituting a safe and reliable mixture for light or deep anesthesia. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
