Abstract
We apply a general procedure for generating crystalline and quasicrystalline atomic structures to fullerenes. We have found different periodic, and aperiodic graphitic structures with high stability. These structures present negative, positive, and zero Gaussian curvatures. Energetic and geometrical properties of these hypothetical structures are explained. Keywords
