Abstract
Two cases of skeletal muscle haemangiomata are described. All previous cases of this condition are reviewed and a brief account is given of the important facets of aetiology, diagnosis, and treatment. Wherever a soft-tissue swelling presents in the region of skeletal muscle the possible diagnosis of a haemangioma should be considered and may frequently be confirmed pre-operatively with the aid of radiography. Local excision remains the treatment of choice wherever possible. Keywords
