Abstract
Gibberellic acid applied as a lanolin paste to flowers of Lycopersicum esculentum var. John Baer induced the production of parthenocarpic fruits. Spraying flowers and flower buds in the 1st cluster on tomato plants, grown in the field, with 35 and 70 ppm GA increased both the setting and yield for the cluster, but similarly treating the 2nd and 3rd clusters did not increase setting or total yield for those clusters. Keywords
