Abstract

Elastic electron scattering cross sections for

{}^{3}{He}

were measured relative to those of

{}^{12}C

in the range of momentum transfer squared between 0.032 and 0.34

{fm}^{- 2}

. The

{}^{3}{He}

rms charge radius was determined from the data to be 1.89 ± 0.05 fm.
