Abstract
The optical and dielectric functions have been determined in the 2 to 10-eV spectral region for four polycyclic hydrocarbons: benzene, toluene, xylene, and trimethylbenzene. The effect of substitution on the spectra of these liquid alkyl benzenes is investigated and comparisons are made to the appropriate gas-phase spectra. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
