Abstract
Autoionizing transitions in cadmium vapour have been studied by direct observation of the energy distribution of autoionized electrons when the system is excited by electron impact. Two new states have been observed and it is thought that they correspond to transitions autoionizing into the continuum of CdII having energies of 29.34 and 30.00 eV.Keywords
