Abstract
• In a patient with nonpalpable carcinoma of the breast, the diagnosis from a metastatic axillary node was made by measuring estrogen receptor protein (ERP). The specificity of the technique makes it useful as a diagnostic aid in a patient with mammogram negative for tumor.
