Abstract
α-Glucosides are prepared by connecting phenylthio 3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-α-D-glucopyranoside and an alcohol or a phenol with a dimethylsilylene bridge followed by iodonium ion catalysed intramolecular glycosidation. Keywords
