Abstract
Twenty-four adults made judgments of relative thickness of Plexiglas wedges placed inter dentally. Obtained difference limen values were consistently lower than those previously reported. Degree of mouth opening had no significant effect on performance. These data contribute to our understanding of sensory-perceptual factors in the regulation of chewing and speech. Keywords
