Abstract
THE following observations are based on 100 consecutive cases of rubella in patients admitted to the contagious wards of the United States Army Hospital, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, during a two-week period in January, 1952. Comprehensive reviews of this subject have been presented in the past.1 2 3 No attempt is made here to duplicate this material, but an effort is made to discuss hitherto undescribed clinical aspects of the disease.The patients were all male soldiers ranging in age from seventeen to twenty-five.
