Abstract
The authors described the presence of fibrinogen derived coagulation inhibitors antithrombin VI and inhibitor of thromboplastin generation (I.G.T)in blood plasma of two patients with placenta praevia and ablatio placentae praecox. Antithrombin VI-like inhibitor has been present in pleural fluid of one patient. The physiological and pathological significance of these inhibitors is discussed. Keywords
