Abstract
Each of 77 Ss, under instructions creating either a skill or a chance situation, had 13 trials on each of 2 tasks. All Ss received the same pattern of positive and negative reinforcement. The chance situation produced smaller and less frequent expectancy changes than the skill situation. 16 references. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)Keywords
