Abstract
Amniotic fluid forms an integral part of the feto-placental-ma ternal circulation and should be included in any discussion of this subject. Since the amniotic fluid is an extension of the fetal extracellular fluid space, more detailed studies should im prove the diagnostic evaluation of the intrauterine patient. Keywords
